Is there a way to make a playon plugin that reads XBMC scaper files? Someone has already writen an MTV plugin for Playon. Maybe it could be used as a reference to compare with the XBMC scraper for MTV. The MTV.XML and other scraper files are located in "C:\Program Files\XBMC\system\scrapers\video" directory in XBMC. The way I see it, the Playon plugin would parse variables from the MTV.XML file. The URL would be a variable and the regex expressions would be too. The plugin would use these variables to bring up a web page, scrape it and use the Plugin API to send it to Playon.

There is some documentation on writing scrapers for XBMC at

There is even a ".Net Library Implementation of an XML screen-scraper currently found in XBMC. The intention of the library is to make integratation of XML scrapers easy, essentially converting a text file into working program logic."

It might be a really nice feature to have for Playon. Anyone have any ideas how one could go about this?
